About the author

Hi there!

Thanks for visiting my website!

My name is Sarah and I live in Montreal, Quebec.

I have been a French translator for over a decade, taught French at the elementary and high school levels and pursued studies in Language Didactics - Teaching French as a Second Language.

During the first lockdown of 2020, I started writing little picture books to teach my two favourite bookworms how to conjugate verbs in French. After realizing that I could teach them this valuable skill implicitly and naturally through storytelling, I decided to launch Mon tout premier conjugueur, a series of books geared towards children aged 2 to 5.

Later that year, I launched another series, Loulou la superlinguiste, which aims to teach linguistic concepts to children aged 3 to 7.

When I'm not translating, writing books or spending time with my tribe, you can find me doing laps at the pool, bouldering at the climbing gym, or reading a good book while sipping on matcha.

Here I am pictured with my Board of Directors: Zoé, Andrew and Ruby. The three of them are my World and are heavily involved in the creative direction of my works.
